Renault Twingo Facelift rolled out in Frankfurt Motor Show 2011, but the French didn’t change just the look of the town car.
Besides the super autos and new SUV, Frankfurt Auto Show 2011 was a launchpad also for a lot of mini class cars stars. The new Renault Twingo was the main attraction of the French stand, because of its extensive face-lift.The front side of the car has a completely new look, and now we have a bumper that covers more the car, including the rear lights, but also the huge fog lamps.
Renault logo is now bigger and the grille, which fallows the trends announced by Renault DeZir concept, continues the concave line of the headlights with black background. To the back side Renault Twingo received an an additional set of stops, located on the tailgate which also received a new form. If you have a watchful eye, you can see that Renault city car has now also a fin, that is discreet integrated in the trunk of the car.
New Renault Twingo has something laid up for those who like to spend more time choosing every piece of the future car. Not less of 24 rims new models and the Blue Rose Fuchsia and Bermuda, also new in Renault’s offer, will enjoy all the little Renault’s customers. Also, more than special versions Gordini and Renault Sport, new Renault Twingo will have a lot of decorations for the roof, and soon you can enjoy the textile sunroof.
As we were expected, the new Renault had received a face-lift also inside, where the quality of the materials is better, and for the buttons and indoor air systems one can choose one of the colors: Gloss Black, Green Anise, Marjorelle Blue or Metallic Grey. For not lagging behind competitors, the new Renault Twingo will provide passengers numerous high-tech equipment such as Bluetooth connectivity and dock for iPod and iPhone, but also classic GPS.
The engine’s offer includes propellers 1.5 diesel, 75 or 85 HP, but also 1.2 gas, which can touch 75 HP the withdrawn version, or 100 TCE version. In the top is the 1.6 16V gas propeller, having 133 HP. Renault Twingo face-lift can be proud of its reduced pollutant emissions, comparing with the previous versions. This car has also a limited edition for women called Twingo Mauboussin. We will see if the Renault Twingo face-lift is better than Fiat 500 and the new Volkswagen Up.
