The body is made of lightweight materials, from its components making part carbon fiber reinforced plastic, aluminum and high strength steels. The two doors are designed to ensure a high level of security, being made of CFRP, therefore they didn’t need the central mullion. The interaction between the driver and the car is made using a advanced displays system, that have an upgraded technology which can identify the driver’s acts, all being part of the “@yourCOMAND” infotainment sophisticated system. Using the “Natural Handling” function, the driver can use voice commands associated with intuitive gestures, so the possibilities to customize the information that the driver wants are, practically unlimited.
The system also benefits from “Moods” function, with this the driver can select different configurations of “@yourCOMAND”, but also a “Social Community Assistant” function, that can filtrated the people and the information that can disturb him from driving.
The displays and the interior lightening combines 3D technology and projected gleams, resulting a new visual universe, “Sensory Perfection”. Very important is the propulsion technology of Mercedes-Benz F125! Concept, which combines electric motors and plug-in charging batteries with a fuel-cell system, energized with hydrogen.
