Mitsubishi Unveils its Future at the Australian International Motor Show

Mitsubishi is preparing to bring fresh air into the car market and climb back up the Australian sales figures this season: both the next generation Outlander and Mirage are going to be presented at Sydney’s Australian International Motor Show, between October 19th and 28th.

The Outlander will then be launched on the market officially in November, becoming the first Mitsubishi car with the ‘e-Assist’ technology. E-Assist will be inclusive of adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation system and lane departure warning system.

This new technology boosts Outlander’s safety in a number of ways:  it helps keep the distance between your car and who is driving in front, it avoids crashes altogether if the speed difference between the two vehicles is less than 30 km/h, and it applies the brakes when the speed difference is over 30km/h. Eventual departures from your own lane will also be prevented by the lane departure warning system, which will activate an alarm whenever you move to the sides of your lane abruptly.
